Comprehensive Vocational Evaluation Services:

Determine appropriate vocational goals and identify barriers which may interfere with success. May last for several hours to several weeks, depending on consumer needs. May include -

  • Vocational Counseling and Exploration
  • Testing
  • Work Samples
  • Trial Tours
  • Community Based Assessment

Community Employment Services (Job Placement Services):

Assist individuals in finding the best job match, taking into consideration interests, skills, and abilities, utilizing an individualized service plan. Participants are paired with an Employment Specialist for weekly meetings to create a resume, master application, references, and cover letter, in addition to networking with employers, practicing interview skills, and other necessities for finding and keeping a job. May include -

  • Job Readiness Training
  • Job Development
  • Follow-up and Retention Services

Employee Development Services:

Assist individuals with disabilities (specifically people who are deaf, have a head injury, or a diagnosis of autism) in learning new skills and work behaviors that will lead to success in training or finding and keeping a job. Provide opportunities to develop employment interests and potential by providing employer based, realistic training in the vocational area of choice. May include -

  • Goal Setting
  • Interpersonal and Communication Skills Training
  • Trial Tours of Occupational Skills Training Areas
  • Community Based Exploration
  • Job Readiness Training
  • Job Retention
  • Employer Based Training
